About Us

Little People’s Repertory Theatre offers children between the ages of 8-14 the opportunity to boost their confidence, hone their performing skills, work with great mentors and be a part of a strong and supportive community. LPRT mentors teenage alumni and volunteer staff in the task of rehearsal assistance, set building, lighting, and other technical aspects of theatrical production. The organization offers work scholarship/tuition assistance for those with financial need. In addition, LPRT is a ‘family participation’ program, where community members have the opportunity to gather and lend their expertise in all ‘behind the scenes’ aspects of the production including set building, costume design and construction, video and cd production, photography, advertising, fundraising, and even playing in the live pit band. Volunteer involvement not only allows us to keep our rates affordable, but also makes our productions a true, collaborative community effort.

Little People’s Repertory Theatre received a Congressional Award of Recognition for Outstanding Contributions to the Community in August 2003 from Congresswoman Anna Eshoo.
